MEX-A Multipurpose Magnetic Particle Flaw Detector，is one of the series of the products of our company’s “URNDT” series，it not only has all the advantages of portable computers, but also has some advantages of mobile version,the lower part of the instrument panel is equipped with output socket, respectively, to the D, A, O-ring probe and probe coil alternating current required .The DC output can be used only on the DC magnetization of A type and D type magnetic yoke probe, when DC testing please AC / DC shift switch to DC, at that time the air plug DC output can be connected to the probe of the type A or D;AC detection please AC / DC shift switch to exchange files detection of the alternating current switch, please change the file and AC /DC to AC, and in that moment the air plug of alternating current output can be connected to any of the probe type A,D, O.
Optional features： 
►D type probe：（The electromagnetic yoke probe）
With various turning joints and great magnetization strength. It can be used for AC or DC flaw detection of plane and curved surface work pieces.
►A type probe：（Horseshoe probe）
It can be a variety of fillet welds, large parts of the inner and outer angle of the AC
and DC local testing.
►O type probe：（Ring probe)
The internal magnetic field strength of O-type probe up to 180 Oersted，meet all the crack detection of the pieces can be placed in the coils, use it to detect fatigue cracks of workpiece (Fatigue cracks are perpendicular to the axial）very convenient,it can also be used away at demagnetization of the workpiece with the method of away,the plant accidentally magnetized tools, measuring tools can be destructive demagnetization.
The machine adopts SCR firing circuits, electronic components through rigorous analysis, aging treatment machines, and so the performance is stable and reliable, with low failure rate. The output voltage of the instrument is safe, it is the occasion appropriate not allowed to enter the high-voltage equipment to test.

四. Operation and Maintenance:
Please read this manual before using the instrument in detail, understand the structure of the instrument and technical performance, check the power requirements are consistent with the instrument, the connection is correct and then you can turn the unit on, the initial use or before reuse for long, you should check that the instrument is in good condition.
Procedure:
1. Connect the power plug to the outlet of instrument, connect the probe to the output jack.
2. Turn the power switch of the instrument, at this point, the light indicator is lit, the active control circuit of
instruments simultaneously and servo work.
3. Contact probe perfectly to the test piece, press the switch probe, at this time the instrument is in the state of
magnetization of the workpiece, and the working light is on. Release the switch, disconnect the main circuit
power supply, and the magnetization is stop the piece.
4. Stop use, unplug the power to start the instrument, disconnect the supply.
Troubleshooting:
1. The unit turns on without instructions do not work, the fuse is blown, caused by a short circuit or overload.
2. Press the switch, the probe works, but no work instructions, because damage to light work.
3. The work light is on, the probe is not magnetized, the main circuit no fault or control.
4. Connect the power supply, press magnetized without switch magnetization due to the damage control circuit or
Triac.
五. Note:
1. The pacing of the Instrumentation: it is advisable to form long continuous work :
Magnetization time ≤ 3s
Time intermittent ≥ 5s .
2. Before use , check the power supply complies with the instrument requirements if higher or lower can damage
the instrument or test the effect of affect .
3. When the tip of the probe should be used to maintain good contact with the proven work piece, and then press
the change of the magnetization , then it is time to better effect of magnetization .
4. Though this instrument is a good circuit protection of load , but when used , the workload should be avoided to
reduce the unnecessary increase .
5. This instrument can work continuously , if you find some parts there is severe fever, you should to use, and can
then be used to identify the reasons .
6. Instrument and accessories must be used or stored in clean, dry, non-corrosive environment.
7. When repair , note that the high risk of the machine.
8. When the switch is pressed, the magnetization can not change the power.
9. Instrument case must be grounded.
10. If you can not repair circuit fault , please return the instrument to our factory service center .
